LEAD to Succeed Virtual Series for Managers

JSI is collaborating with the School Nutrition Foundation to offer a series of exciting new virtual training sessions throughout the 2023-2024 school year. The series includes four topics, specifically designed for school nutrition managers. The second session titled “Your Conflict Style Inventory,” was held on November 15, 2023, and led by Tarrah Westercamp, MS, RDN, SNS. The one-hour webinar explored five distinct conflict management styles and offered insights into the application and handling of challenging discussions with coworkers and/or stakeholders. This lesson also equipped participants with the skills to better reflect on past and future conflict in the workplace and foster more favorable outcomes overall.

These live online trainings are being offered as a bonus opportunity for school nutrition professionals who attended the Management Institute.  Additional no cost, self-paced online training options in communications and leadership are also available on the Lead to Succeed™ webpage.

We invite managers to consider attending our upcoming in-person Management Institute scheduled for August 2024 – more details coming soon!

Background: Launched in August 2023, the School Nutrition Foundation’s (SNF) LEAD to Succeed™ initiative was developed specifically for professionals aiming to Learn, Educate, Advance, and Develop in the field of school nutrition.
