Professional Communication

Election day is always a popular professional development day for schools. Workshop instructors from The John C. Stalker Institute (JSI), of Food and Nutrition traveled to school nutrition programs across Massachusetts to deliver professional development.

On November 7, JSI presented Professional Communications at Danvers High School. The workshop addresses how to recognize communication barriers and potential strategies to overcome them, identify effective professional communication skills, evaluate communication styles and personality preferences to create a more effective workplace environment, and practice effective communication skills using workplace scenarios.

Throughout the workshop, participants increased their knowledge, confidence, and competency about professional communication. They engaged with each other, asked questions, laughed, and had a great time!
