Partner Spotlight: BOKS- Build Our Kids’ Success

As part of the Healthy Kids, Healthy Programs 2022 Summit, JSI is excited to showcase BOKS- Build Our Kids’ Success and their resources to support School Meal Programs in School Year 2022-2023.  

BOKS engages and supports school nutrition programs. Their resources are fun and interactive ways for children to learn about healthy food choices and can be used as curriculum for school nutrition programs. The top resource shared by BOKS to help school districts in the upcoming school year. 

  • BOKS Bits: BOKS’ original nutrition and wellness interactive lesson plans that can be used at the end of a BOKS class during the cool down. The kids love to participate in the discussion while they learn about topics that make them more aware of the importance of their food choices.

Fun Fact…In our countdown to the Healthy Kids, Healthy Programs 2022 Summit on May 24, we asked each partner to share which session they were most excited about. BOKS picked the Bringing the Future into Focus session because the session being optimism about the future and the positive change we can make on the health and wellness of children.
