A three-day program designed for Massachusetts school nutrition directors to strengthen their knowledge of school nutrition program requirements. Education specialists from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Office for Food and Nutrition Programs provided essential training on meal benefit issuance, resource management and food service operations.

2016 - 2017 Nuts & Bolts of School Nutrition Programs
Continuation Series

This training series provided participants with the vital information and skills to improve program operations. Opportunities throughout the year included both in-person and online sessions. Those who completed the entire series received recognition at the Healthy Kids, Healthy Programs Summit in May and a letter of recognition was sent to their school leadership.
